Linear MegaCode Wireless Keypads

Linear MegaCode Wireless Keypads

MegaCode keypads for Linear garage door openers, gate receivers and access controllers: the Linear NMTK backlit keypad (replaces the discontinued MDTK and LPWKP) for Linear openers and MegaCode receivers, and the Linear MDKP exterior keypad, which sends a different signal for each PIN so an access controller can track and remove codes one at a time. The LiftMaster L979U universal keypad is also listed by LiftMaster as compatible with Linear MegaCode 318 MHz openers.

Not sure which keypad fits your opener? Use our Remote Finder: pick your opener brand, answer one question, and see the remotes and keypads that work with it.

Which Linear system do you have? Linear made three radio systems that don't work with each other: MegaCode (318 MHz, no dip switches; the remote is learned into the opener or receiver), Delta 3 (310 MHz, 8 three-position dip switches; see Delta 3 keypads) and Multi-Code (300 MHz, 10 two-position dip switches; see Multi-Code keypads). Check the label inside the battery cover of your old remote or on the receiver.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Linear MDKP keypad?
Enter your PIN (1 to 6 digits) and press #. The MDKP sends a unique signal for each PIN, and the receiver or access controller checks it, so codes are added at the receiver, not the keypad. Press # twice to turn on the downlight for 30 seconds. It mounts on a wall or a gooseneck, with a range of about 250 ft line-of-sight.
