Garage door tracks guide the door’s rollers as it opens and closes. When the vertical track gets bent, rusted or knocked out of alignment, the door binds, jumps or won’t seal at the floor. We stock 2″ vertical track pairs sized to your door height, plus vertical angle to mount them — so you can replace a damaged section and get the door running smoothly again.

Match your track width and door height. Most residential doors use 2″ track. Vertical track is sold in pairs sized to the door height (6′3″ up to 8′). Measure your door height and confirm the track width stamped on your existing track. Unsure? Call 877-379-4947.

• 2″ vertical track (pairs). Left and right vertical track sized to door height — 6′3″, 6′6″, 6′9″, 7′, 7′3″, 7′6″, 7′9″ and 8′ doors.
• Vertical angle. The mounting angle that fastens the vertical track to the door jamb.

When to Replace Your Track

Replace vertical track when it’s bent from a bump or impact, rusted through, or misaligned so the door catches or comes off the rollers. Fresh, straight track keeps the door balanced, quiet and properly sealed. While you’re at it, worn rollers are a smart upgrade for smoother, quieter travel.

Track Width: 2″ vs. Other Sizes

The track width is the size of the track opening the rollers ride in. 2″ is by far the most common on residential sectional doors; heavier or commercial doors may use 3″. Always match the width of your existing track so your rollers fit correctly. Our track fits standard sectional doors from Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Hörmann, Amarr, Overhead Door, C.H.I. and Raynor.
