Linear Garage Door Opener Remotes
Genuine and compatible Linear garage door opener remotes. Every Linear opener (LDO33, LDO50, LSO50, LCO75, the LDCO models and Nice Linear 621, 661, 861) has a built-in MegaCode 318 MHz receiver, so any MegaCode remote here works with it: the MTS1 and MTS3 visor remotes replace the old MTR1, MTR3 and MCT-3. The same remotes also work with Linear MegaCode gate receivers (MGR, MGR-2, MDR/U) and access controllers such as the AP-5.

Which Linear system do you have? Linear made three radio systems that don't work with each other: MegaCode (318 MHz, no dip switches; the remote is learned into the opener or receiver), Delta 3 (310 MHz, 8 three-position dip switches; see Delta 3 remotes) and Multi-Code (300 MHz, 10 two-position dip switches; see Multi-Code remotes). Check the label inside the battery cover of your old remote or on the receiver.

Most Linear remotes are MegaCode, 318 MHz. Each remote has its own factory code; you program it by making the opener or receiver learn it. Linear Multi-Code (DIP switch) and Delta 3 systems use different remotes.

How to program a MegaCode remote
On a Linear opener (all models above):
- Press and release the LEARN button on the opener. The red light stays on for about 15 seconds.
- While it is on, press and hold the remote button you want to use.
- One flash of the opener light and red light means the remote was added. Four flashes mean it was already stored and has been removed: repeat steps 1 and 2.
Holding LEARN for 10 seconds erases every remote and keypad on the opener. Full steps per model, with the flash codes: Linear opener programming guide.
On a Linear receiver (MDR/U, gate receivers): press the program button for less than 2 seconds. The LED lights for about 5 seconds; press the remote button while it is on, and the LED flickers when the remote is stored. To count stored remotes, hold the button about 3 seconds and count the flashes. Holding it longer than 5 seconds erases every remote on that channel.
