Chamberlain WD962KPEV Parts Diagram & Parts List

The WD962KPEV has a yellow LEARN button (Security+ 2.0). Per Chamberlain's manual: press and release the LEARN button on the opener (the LEARN LED glows for 30 seconds), then press and hold the remote button you want to use until the opener lights blink or you hear two clicks. To erase all remotes and keypads, press and hold LEARN until the LED goes out (about 6 seconds). Older Chamberlain remotes for red/orange or purple LEARN buttons will not work.

The UP and DOWN arrows on the opener flash a diagnostic code (UP flashes, then DOWN flashes). Per Chamberlain's diagnostic chart: 1-1 = safety sensors not installed, connected or wire cut; 1-2 = shorted or reversed sensor wire; 1-3 = door control wiring shorted or control faulty; 1-4 = sensors misaligned or blocked; 1-5 = door moves 6-8 in. and stops (check for binding, travel module and wiring); 2-1 to 2-5 = replace the logic board; 3-2 = travel not retained (check the travel module); 3-3 = battery charging circuit error (replace the logic board); 4-1 to 4-4 = door binding, or reprogram the travel; 4-5 = travel module communication error; 4-6 = sensors misaligned.
