Keystone Heddolf Remotes, Keypads and Receivers

Keystone Heddolf makes replacement remotes, keypads and receivers for gates and garage doors. Its remotes match other brands' radio systems, so they're the usual fix when the original remote is no longer sold, like the Genie GT912, Allstar 9931 or Overhead Door 109130.

Check before you order: open your old remote or receiver and note the frequency, the number of switches and whether each switch has 2 or 3 positions. Learn button openers have no switches; match the learn button color instead.

Overhead Door 109130 remotes came in 390, 360 and 340 MHz, so check the label on your old remote or receiver; 340 MHz is mainly on commercial doors. The CRC390 remotes don't work on yellow (Security+ 2.0) or white (Security+ 3.0) learn buttons; see LiftMaster remotes.

How do I pick the right Keystone Heddolf remote?

Open your old remote or the receiver and check three things: the frequency on the label, how many code switches there are, and whether each switch has two positions (on/off) or three (+, 0, -). Then match it in the table on this page. Learn-button openers (Security+ and Intellicode) have no switches; match the learn button color or system instead.

How do I program a dip switch remote?

Open the battery cover and set each switch in the new remote to the same position as the receiver or a working remote. Press the button to test. On 3-position switches, set each one to +, 0 or - exactly as the original.

Will the CRC390 remotes work on a yellow learn button LiftMaster?

No. The CRC390-1KB and CRC390-3KB are for red/orange learn button (390 MHz) Security+ openers. For yellow learn button Security+ 2.0 or white learn button Security+ 3.0 openers, use a LiftMaster remote such as the L992U or 893MAX.

What is the long range kit?

The EX220-1KB remote and ER294-1K receiver work together on 433 MHz with up to 1,500 ft of range, for long driveways, farm gates and commercial lots. The remote works only with the ER294 receiver. Wire the receiver to the opener or gate operator's push button input.

Can I add Allstar-style remotes to any opener?

Yes, with the P294-1KB receiver. It runs on 12 or 24 V AC or DC, uses 9 three-position switches at 318 MHz and wires to the opener's push button terminals, so P220 remotes and the P330 keypad can run it.
