Marantec Synergy 270 FAQ
Do the Synergy 260, 270 and 280 use the same parts?
Yes, except the transformer box: 105469 fits the 260 and 270, and 122945 fits the 280. Marantec gives all three one owner's manual and the same belt and chain rail parts.
What do the error codes on a Synergy 270 mean?
The Synergy 270 shows a fault code on its control panel. Per Marantec's manual: 8 = settings interrupted before completion (redo the setup); 9 = RPM sensor signal missing or drive blocked; 10 = door hard to move, force set too low; 11 = run time exceeded; 15 = photo eyes not connected or aligned, or the beam is blocked; 16 = motor current sensor fault; 26 = power overload, have the outlet checked; 28 = door too stiff or blocked, check balance and springs. Codes 9, 11 and 16 mean the opener needs service.
How do I program a remote to a Synergy 270?
During system setup the transmission icon blinks on the control panel. Press and hold the remote button until the icon turns solid, release it, and press P to save. Synergy remotes and accessories run on 315 MHz.
What warranty does the Synergy 270 have?
Marantec's manual gives the Synergy 270 4-year parts warranty, a limited lifetime warranty on the motor, gear assembly and rail system, 5 years on LED lighting and 1 year on accessories. It requires professional installation and registration.
