This microswitch tells the opener when the door has reached the fully closed position. It is the blue-coded close limit switch located in the motor carriage assembly.
Replace this switch when the opener fails to recognize the closed position, runs past the close limit, or shows a limit-related fault. The switch is color-coded blue for identification during installation.
